I am so grateful to be a part of this family! My sisters are the most amazing and inspiring people i have ever met! Katrina always knows how to put a smile on my face no matter what mood i'm in she is beautiful on the inside and obviously the out:)Felicia i can tell anything too... i know she will listen and she gives the best advice... she always knows what to say and is there to assure me that i am doing the right thing:)Liana has taught me to always be the better person... no matter what situation i am in i always hear lili's voice in the back of my head saying "what would jesus do":)Audra is there anytime i want to be a kid for a day:) They all have affected me in different ways. I definitely know for a fact that i would not be where i am today with out them in my life. I love all of them to death and would do just about anything for them:)
So, on our short drive from the Staples Center in LA to Universal City Walk for a Christmas concert we decided to hype ourselves up by bustin' some moves to the music! This is just some of our typical sister shananigans that we do to keep ourselves young. ;) (Or our car audience young *cough cough*) Joking. We just live to entertain! :)
It was an incredible opportunity to be invited to attend the American Music Awards 2009! All thanks to our spectacular father, of course. :) There were so many memorable moments of the show, but I must mention (being the crazy fan I am) that Michael Jackson broke records last night! He was awarded 4 of the 5 nominations including:
Favorite Male Artist - Pop/Rock Favorite Male Artist - R&B/Soul Favorite Pop/Rock Album - "Number Ones" Favorite R&B/Soul Album - "Number Ones"
He was also nominated for Artist of the Year, but that award was snagged by Taylor Swift (which she definitely deserves!) These wins brought him to a unsurpassed 23 American Music Awards, making him "the most honored artist in AMA history". Congratulations MJ! Your music will forever live on!
Having said, anyone who has not seen Michael Jackson's "This Is It" you must watch! All of us sisters got to see it together and it was phenomenal! You won't regret it. :) - I saw it 3 times!
